About magicalslam

Who publishes magicalslam

magicalslam is published by Aquis Group / Tony Fung Investments, Level 4, 111 Eagle Street, Brisbane QLD 4000, AU. You can reach the editors at contact@magicalslam.com.

Our relationship with the hotel

We have no ownership stake in The Reef Hotel Casino, and no hotel paid to be reviewed or to be named as an alternative. The pick and every opinion on the page come from our own editors.

How the site earns money

Some links are affiliate or referral links. If you follow one and book, a partner may pay us a commission; your price does not change. Commissions never decide which hotel we pick or what we say about its weak points. The Affiliate Disclosure has the detail.

How we research and check

• We start from the hotel's own pages, then compare venue listings, recent guest comments and local reporting.
• When sources disagree, we leave the figure out and tell you what to confirm.
• We publish no numeric verdicts, invented quotes or prices.
• Each section lists real downsides next to the good points.
• A second editor rereads the page for facts and tone before it goes live.

Corrections

Spotted something out of date, such as a closed restaurant? Write to contact@magicalslam.com with the subject line "Correction". We check each report and, when it holds up, fix the page and move the update date forward.
